One of the most popular metals of all time is gold, and today’s market offers a variety of different colors for this timeless material. Oftentimes, when you think of gold you typically think of the traditional yellow gold. However, white gold has been a popular choice over the years, and rose gold is certainly dominating and becoming quite a favorite amongst fine jewelry lovers.

Yellow gold is known for its bold yellow hue. It is an alloy made by combining pure gold with metals such as zinc and copper.

White gold is a fantastic and cost-effective alternative to platinum. It is comprised of an alloy of gold and a white metal such as palladium, manganese or nickel.

Rose gold is certainly growing in popularity and you’re seeing it more and more in wedding pieces. Rose gold has a beautiful pink tone to it that is made up of gold and copper alloy.

These varying shades of gold look great as standalone pieces of jewelry or combined together. The best part is that it is all a matter of personal preference. Let’s take a look at a few different items.
